Our Project Sandwich effort has been so successful that we have been asked by the Oak Park Food pantry to participate as one of their regularly donating congregations. This year the pantry is asking that each congregation donate just one or two types of food items. This will allow them to better adjust their inventories and also to call on those congregations when they need a specific item.
We have been asked to be the "Peanut Butter and Jelly" site. So, we will be making this a regular part of our congregational donations:

Every third Sunday, we will be collecting Peanut Butter and Jelly to bring to the Food Pantry. Please keep this in mind when shopping and bring in your jars to deposit in the rotunda. Volunteers will bring them over to the Pantry.
