Neil Hirsch is currently a fourth year rabbinical student at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City.  Neil is originally from Houston, Texas, where he learned that there is nothing better than warm tortillas and piping hot fajitas.  Neil attended college at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.  While studying art history and classics, Neil worked as the Youth Advisor at Temple Chayai Shalom in North Easton, Massachusetts.  During his first snowfall in New England, Neil’s neighbors were amused at his efforts to clean off his car with a dishtowel. 

Neil has worked as a teacher in the Hebrew Tabernacle religious school for the past two years, and last year he was our education and programming intern.  During his time in rabbinical school, Neil has also worked as a chaplain intern at the NYU Medical Center and has served as the rabbinic intern at Temple Rodef Shalom in Falls Church, Virginia.
